Glen Johnson shares Everton Premier League relegation prediction
Former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson believes Everton will be relegated from the Premier League this season.
The Toffees currently sit 17th in the table, with only goal difference keeping the Merseyside outfit out of the bottom three.
They have won just six of their 30 Premier League matches this season, with their points tally of 27 just four ahead of rock-bottom Southampton.

“I think Southampton are the clear favourites to go down and I believe Everton and Nottingham Forest will be relegated alongside them,” Johnson told Betfred.
“I think Leicester City have a lot more to give than they’re giving so if Dean Smith can get them going, then they should have enough firepower to stay up.”

Crucial period
Former manager Frank Lampard will definitely feel partly responsible for the mess that the Toffees are currently in, but there are also various behind-the-scenes reasons for the club’s struggles this season.
On the pitch, injuries have certainly played their part, but overall Everton have simply not been good enough this season.
New boss Sean Dyche has undoubtedly helped steady the ship at Goodison Park, but many fans may just be fearing that it is too little too late, with the Toffees dangerously close to dropping down a division.
Despite being in a very similar position last time out, it remains a somewhat unthinkable concept for a huge club like Everton to be playing Championship football, but they really need to get things together as soon as possible in order for that to not become a reality.
Everton can certainly build some momentum in their next two matches, with the club hosting out-of-form Fulham on Saturday (15 April), with the Cottagers losing their last four league games.
The Toffees then travel to Crystal Palace in another game that Dyche will see as having the potential of bringing in some much-needed points.
