Hope?

This could be huge news for Everton football club, especially given what’s been happening on the pitch in recent weeks but after MSP’s interest [iNews, 22 February] over the past couple months, it certainly seems as if Moshiri getting closer to the Goodison Park exit door.

Moshiri has maintained that he does not want to fully sell the club, but if a suitable offer was to arrive from someone such as 777 Partners, that could change his mind and the Toffees faithful will be hoping and praying that this development does not take as long as the MSP and that any potential sale can be wrapped up quickly.

Everton find themselves in serious turmoil, with the club revealing their dreadful and torrid financial state meaning that should they suffer relegation at the end of the season, it could have damning repercussions such as administration.

This has largely been down to Moshiri’s horrendous mismanagement and incompetence and any sort of news regarding a potential sale would be welcome for the Everton fans.

Let’s hope this saga doesn’t drag on too long as we are increasingly tired of all this Moshiri talk. He’s got to move on now.
