Michael Ball reacts instantly to bizarre Bill Kenwright statement amid Everton protests
Michael Ball has reacted furiously to Bill Kenwright’s statement about the Everton board protests, hitting out at the timing of it.
Kenwright released an open letter on the official Everton website on Friday night (21 April) in response to the “All Together Now” protests in recent months, criticising fans’ position on wanting the board out.
And reacting to the statement on his personal Twitter account (21 April), ex-Toffees defender Ball was furious that he opted to do this the day before a huge game with Crystal Palace.
“WTF,” he said. “A day before a very important game,” followed up with a face-palm emoji.
Ridiculous
Everything that Kenwright put into that statement was absolute nonsense and stinks of someone who simply doesn’t understand.
It’s crazy that someone who is a boyhood fan of the club can’t see the damage being done from within, and then has the audacity to blame the fans for those issues.
The fans want what is best for the club, and that means him, Farhad Moshiri and Denis Barrett-Baxendale have to go as soon as possible to give us a chance of this club getting back to it’s former glory.

The decision to release the statement on the eve of such a huge game in the Premier League when we’re currently sitting outside of the relegation zone on goal difference alone tells you where his priorities lie.
Someone had to sign off on that coming out, and whoever it was also didn’t care for the affect it could have before such a game.
The club is an absolute mess right now, and the board are the root cause of it all. Get them out.
