Everton transfer news as Iliman Ndiaye set for 'big move' - Fabrizio Romano
Fabrizio Romano has shared that Everton are still interested in a summer transfer move for Sheffield United attacker Iliman Ndiaye.
The Italian transfer guru has reported on his personal Twitter account that the Senegalese talisman is set for a “big move” despite the Blades being on the verge of promotion to the Premier League.
Italian clubs are also in the running, but it appears that Kevin Thelwell and Sean Dyche have set their sights on Diaye coming to Goodison Park.
He wrote: “Many clubs are following the progress of Sheffield United talent Iliman Ndiaye, expected to get big move in the summer.
“Everton are interested in Ndiaye, Italian clubs are well informed too.”
Busy.
Whichever way you look at it, there is going to be tonnes of transfer work needed in the summer.
If Everton get relegated, this move is virtually impossible with half of the squad likely needing to be sold to keep the club afloat before making more realistic moves.
Should the Toffees remain in the Premier League, it is certainly a possibility, with the final third desperate for more than just one new addition.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin finally returned for Everton against Crystal Palace and missed a guilt-edged opportunity, but he will shake off the cobwebs in the coming games hopefully.
Should the England international inspire the club to safety, having someone alongside him such as Ndiaye could be perfect, with his physicality matched by the pace and skill of the Sheffield United man.
Premier League survival comes first, but this is certainly one to keep an eye on as we move forward.
