Jeff Stelling predicts result of Everton v Manchester City for Sky Sports
Jeff Stelling believes Everton will fall to a 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at Goodison Park in the Premier League this Sunday (14 May).
The Toffees returned to winning ways in remarkable fashion on Monday (8 May) as they thrashed Brighton 5-1 at the AMEX Stadium to move two points clear of the relegation zone in 17th position.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola’s side stretched their unbeaten run in all competitions to 21 games with a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday (9 May) and currently sit one point clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.

Writing his Super 6 predictions for Sky Sports, Stelling wrote: “Manchester City are unstoppable at the moment, racking up ten consecutive Premier League wins at the weekend.
“I don’t see that stopping against Everton, despite their 5-1 thrashing of Brighton on Monday.”

As tough as it gets
Despite Everton arriving into the clash on the back of one of their best performances in years, they still remain heavy underdogs given the inch-perfect form of Manchester City.
The Premier League champions are an unstoppable juggernaut right now, and whatever any team tries, they usually come some way short of claiming a result.
For Sean Dyche’s side to nick any kind of result, they will have to rely on a blistering start, the type of which they displayed against Brighton when they netted after just 35 seconds.
Manchester City are likely to be a little leggy after their midweek Champions League exploits, so Everton might possibly be able to catch them napping in the early exchanges.
After that, it will be about pure grit and determination.
Getting a result against Manchester City isn’t an impossible task, but it is the closest thing you will see to it in football.
