Farhad Moshiri Everton position untenable as Goodison Park web of lies emerges
Farhad Moshiri’s position at Everton has reached an untenable position – and the latest miscommunication to come out of Goodison Park provides yet more evidence that he should move on.
The Toffees are currently fighting tooth and nail to ensure their Premier League status is secure. Manchester City are up next on Sunday before clashes against Wolverhampton and Bournemouth.
Sean Dyche has given us hope. There’s a genuine chance of survival. Premier League football will be absolutely essential in staving off some of the growing clouds on the blue side of Merseyside.

The Toffees’ wage bill could be catastrophic in the second tier, there’s the Bramley-Moore Dock build to worry about, and the small matter of a Premier League investigation.
However, Moshiri hasn’t helped the scenario. We’ve heard rumours of investment at Goodison Park for a long time, but nothing has emerged.
Writing on their personal Twitter account, reliable Everton source, the ESK, shared the latest news coming from the boardroom over the financial steps.
The three scenarios that “sources” have suggested include a complete takeover, MSP Sports Capital stadium funding, or “no deal” imminent. Which one is true Mr Moshiri? Something doesn’t add up.
Either senior figures at the club are spreading misinformation or nobody really knows the current ins and outs of Goodison Park. Clarity is certainly required and the owner would be wise to make a statement in the coming weeks. The fanbase deserves more and they’re desperate to avoid a repeat of the last two seasons.
Everton simply cannot fight tooth and nail for their Premier League status for the third year in a row. It’s time for the owner to start telling the truth.
