Everton fume as David Moyes shares West Ham United update ahead of Leeds clash
Everton are set to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday with Sean Dyche’s side looking to keep their fate in their own hands heading into the final day of the Premier League season.
However, the Toffees will be less than impressed with David Moyes’ comment during his latest press conference. West Ham have just qualified for the Conference League and are set to take on Fiorentina in the final.
The Hammers take on Everton’s relegation rivals Leeds United on Sunday 21 May. The Yorkshire side have improved under Sam Allardyce and are just one place and one point below the Toffees.
The West Ham boss has revealed (Football Daily, 19 May) that he will play a less than full strength side this weekend at the London Stadium.
“We had to make a few decisions against Brentford last week, we’ve got some decisions to make this week as well,” said Moyes.
“We’ve got some decisions to make this week as well.”

There does need to be some sort of integrity maintained from the West Ham boss. His side have been largely unimpressive during the 2022/23 season and were nearly sucked into a relegation battle themselves.
Fielding a completely unchanged side could have a massive impact on Everton’s survival hopes. A win for Leeds will take the battle to beat to the drop to the final day.
That’s something no one on Merseyside wants. Four points should be enough for the Toffees to secure their Premier League survival, but added pressure is certainly not welcomed.
Come on Moyes, do your old club a favour! Everton need it.
