Everton twist as talks held to change payments on Bramley-Moore Dock stadium
Everton are looking to change the payment schedule for work on the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [20 May, pg 113] that Farhad Moshiri keen to pass on the stadium costs to whoever the new owners of the club are.
777 Partners have made a £600million bid to takeover the club, but MSP Sports Capital are also looking to rival that bid to take over the reins as well.

They wrote: “Everton are looking at changing the payment schedule for work on their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in the light of their continuing takeover talks with potential investors.
“Everton have held talks with their main contractor, Laing O’Rourke, about potential changes to the payment schedule with the next instalment on the £505m build due later this month.”

Wow.
The Bramley-Moore Dock stadium is going to be sensational.
It will open up many opportunities for the club, not only in a footballing sense but the commercial opportunities and revenue it could deliver to Everton.
Staying in the Premier League is obviously the main goal and Sean Dyche will surely have his eyes firmly set on that right now, rather than a new stadium and the ownership developments.
MSP Sports Capital and 777 Partners look to be the two leading candidates in the race to take over the club from Moshiri and all that it comes with.
The current owner has pumped a lot of his own money into the new stadium build, and he will likely not want to put any more in if he is close to selling up and moving on.
Of course, nothing is in concrete yet so this is something to watch over the coming weeks.
