Gary Neville shares ‘nervy’ Everton verdict live from Manchester City v Chelsea on Sky Sports
Gary Neville has shared an Everton verdict live on Sky Sports whilst commentating on Manchester City’s Premier League clash v Chelsea.
Leeds United’s 3-1 loss to West Ham United now means the Toffees’ fate is in their own hands heading into the final-day clash against Bournemouth.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville feels the Yorkshire side are now in “big trouble” after the latest twist in the relegation battle.

“It’s going to take a lot now for Leeds after what has just happened earlier,” said Neville (Sky Sports 4:45pm, 21 May).
“They’re in big trouble, still it’s going to be a nervy last day at Goodison Park for sure.”
Tension
The tension at Goodison Park on Sunday is going to be palpable. Bournemouth have very little to play for, but, as we all know, anything can happen on the last day of the season, particularly when so much is at stake.
Whoever strikes first on the final day could have the upper hand. Leicester could also throw a spanner in the works if they beat Newcastle United on Monday evening.
There’s a lot which could happen, but it’s essential for Sean Dyche’s side to play their part at Goodison Park. They have to get the job done and put pressure on their rivals.

An early goal could be vital. News of an Everton goal would knock the stuffing out of Leeds if the news filtered around Elland Road.
Considering how bad things were under Frank Lampard, Dyche has done an excellent job. He’s got the players believing once again and playing some decent football at times.
If survival can be secured, it’s essential the board back the former Burnley boss heading into the summer window.
