Garth Crooks puts Yerry Mina in BBC Team of the Week as Everton draw sinks Leeds United
BBC Football pundit Garth Crooks has selected Everton star Yerry Mina in his Premier League Team of the Week following his excellent impact in the final stages of the clash against Wolves.
The Colombian international pounced to secure a 1-1 draw for Everton at Molineux with the importance of that result increasing after Leicester City recorded a draw at Newcastle United on Monday evening.
Mina has been going through the gears since his recall for the Brighton game and his goal on Saturday should set him up well for the final day of the season against Bournemouth.

Crooks was delighted to see Mina in the right place at exactly the right time, as well as the backing that the Evertoninans provided for their team.
“What a delight it was to see a banner asking the Everton players to ‘fight for us’ instead of placards focusing on boardroom matters,” he said.
“Well, Everton did just that and fought right to the last minute at Wolves, eventually getting the 1-1 draw their efforts deserved.
“He’s not my favourite Everton player but Yerry Mina has a habit of popping up with the occasional goal, but he won’t score a more important goal than his equaliser at Molineux.
“Leeds United’s hearts must have sank when the result came in. The Toffees now play Bournemouth at home in their last game of the season with everything to play for. Everton fans should make sure they take that banner with them.”

All to play for
The stage is set for what should be an epic occasion at Goodison Park on Sunday but it will only be a memorable one if Everton prevails.
It won’t be a time of celebration as such, more a case of joy and relief in what will be a highly-charged environment full of passion and feeling.
The supporters will be fired up to back the team to get the result that they need and that is any kind of win, nothing else matters.
After last weekend’s last-gasp draw, the players can draw on that experience of getting something at the very end of the clash with Wolves but with home advantage as well as having all to play for, they should hold an edge over Bournemouth who won’t have that competitive edge.
There can be no room for complacency as the Cherries won’t want to end their season with a whimper but the emphasis is firmly on the Toffees to deliver when it really matters.
