Cenk Tosun sends two-word message to Everton ace Yerry Mina after win v Bournemouth
Cenk Tosun has sent a message to Everton defender Yerry Mina following the club’s win over Bournemouth on Sunday (28 May).
The Toffees defeated the Cherries 1-0 on the final day of the Premier League season to secure their safety.
And defender Mina shared a message with fans on social media after the match, with his former Everton teammate Tosun getting in touch shortly after.

“Today I just want to thank you Lord Jesus for allowing me to finish this tough season in this way, there were many difficult moments for all of us as a team and for me personally, however united we could remain,” Mina posted on Instagram.
“Thanks Jesus!!! Come on blues.”
Former Everton striker Tosun replied: “Bravo legend.”

Desperation to relief
It was a miserable season in general for Everton, but that misery quickly turned into relief and delight after the final whistle at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Everyone at the club has the belief that they shouldn’t have been in such a position in the first place, but questions must be asked given how it has now happened for two seasons in a row.
Mina is definitely free from blame having been an outcast for the majority of the campaign, much like Tosun was during his time at the club.
But the former came back into the fold under Sean Dyche, playing a key part at both ends of the pitch as the Toffees managed to stave off relegation at the very last moment.
Mina will leave the Merseyside club this summer, but he will definitely hold a place in the hearts of Everton supporters. The same thing, however, cannot be said for Tosun, but it is nice to see that he is still in touch with and supporting his former teammates at Goodison Park.
