Everton want ‘celebrity boss’ as Farhad Moshiri rumours emerge
Everton want to hire a “celebrity” boss as rumours emerge of Farhad Moshiri being displeased with the Toffees’ style of football, according to The Mirror.
Sean Dyche steered his side to safety on the final day of the 2022/23 season with a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Goodison Park.
However, The Mirror’s David Maddock has suggested that Moshiri is displeased and unexcited by the style of play at Goodison Park.

“He [Sean Dyche] has already heard rumours that Moshiri isn’t excited by Everton – or their down-to-earth manager – at present, and he yearns for a celebrity boss,” wrote Maddock (pg 47, 30 May).
Ridiculous
Everton simply have to learn their lesson at some point. Dyche has managed to steer the club to safety with absolutely no help from the board whatsoever. He’s done their dirty work and rescued the Toffees from financial ruin.
Dyche now deserves the chance to take the club forward. He’s realistic and aware of the current situation at Goodison Park. If Moshiri had his way, he would be looking to make another fanciful appointment. Everton need stability and a platform to build off of when the 2023/24 campaign gets underway.

With the new stadium on the horizon, most Evertonians would be more than content with a midtable finish next season. It would allow the club to start its new era as a solid top-flight side.
The last two seasons cannot be repeated. The Toffees won’t get away with a third year on the spin scrapping near the foot of the table.
It’s down to Moshiri to keep a level head and make the right decisions during the off-season.
