Everton fans at Liver Building as they call for change today – Alan Myers
Everton supporters have gathered at the Liver Building in the city centre today, to maintain the call for change at Goodison Park as featured by Alan Myers on Twitter.
It is just the latest moment in the long-running protest campaign for change at Everton, targeted against the existing board at the club.
Sean Dyche’s side secured their Premier League status on the final day of the season, last Sunday, with a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth thanks to a thunderbolt strike from Abdoulaye Doucoure.

On a sunny day in Liverpool city centre, the message from the supporters remains the same, as adorned on the banner.
“The time has come, it’s time to go.”

Only outcome
The 2022/23 season may have come to a conclusion, a satisfactory one in the end for the Toffees but the campaign for a new beginning at the club goes on.
For the likes of Bill Kenright, Denise Barrett-Baxendale, Grant Ingles and Graeme Sharp there can be no realistic return to a position of influence at Goodison after everything that has happened.
With the protests and strength of feeling that emanated, the board haven’t been at the stadium since January meanwhile Farhad Moshiri is caught in the middle.
He has invested heavily for not a lot in return but he is also far from blameless. It is essential that he ensures the right situation materialises with new people coming into the club.
That should happen relatively soon, in what is an arduous process but from the fan’s perspective, the only outcome that matters is change.
Hopefully, this can make a positive change.
