Everton share ‘huge’ Bramley-Moore Dock development as footage emerges

Everton have released an update on their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium as the Toffees get set to move into their new stadium at the start of the 2024/25 season.

The Liverpool Echo report on 2 June that “huge” steps have now been made after the club revealed interior footage of the stadium.

The club also released a statement alongside the video as their £500million build takes shape.

“The interior of the west stand at Everton Stadium continues to evolve, with the myriad of spacious rooms, corridors and concourses taking shape on all three levels,” they wrote.

“Spaces for dressing rooms and media interview booths have started to become visible on the ground floor as well as bars, restaurants and lounges on other floors that will form part of the club’s ALL experiences.”

Positive

There’s certainly more reason to be positive when it comes to the new stadium. The lack of certainty over the Toffees’ league status had cast some doubt over the Bramley-Moore Dock build. Now, with Everton in the Premier League club for at least one more season, there can be a little bit more optimism.

The new stadium could allow the club to get back to competing with the better clubs in the Premier League. Long term, we all know it’s going to be a good investment. A brand-new 57,000-seater stadium will attract more fans and could lure potential signings to Merseyside.

There will be many who are against leaving Goodison Park and with good reason. Modern stadia can often be too high-tech and lose the important aspects of a club’s historical values.

Goodison Park is amongst the most historical and atmospheric grounds in the UK and it would be a crying shame if that charm was lost when the club do say goodbye to its ancestral home.

It will be a sad day when the move eventually does occur, but for the club’s long-term ambitions, it’s a move they simply have to make. Exciting times could be around the corner.
