Everton drop double-digit season ticket increase on fans despite amid relegation slog and cost of living crisis
Season ticket prices at Everton have gone up “roughly 10 per cent,” according to the Daily Mail.
The rise comes despite the Merseyside club’s “brush with relegation” in the Premier League this season.
Everton only just managed to stay in the top flight thanks to their 1-0 win over Bournemouth on the final day of the season, but join Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Wolves as the only top flight sides to put prices up by double-digits during the cost of living crisis.

“Prices at Goodison Park have gone up by roughly 10 per cent despite Everton’s brush with relegation from the Premier League this season,” according to the Daily Mail.
“Prices for 2022/23 ranged from £465 up to £625, but now that is £515 for the cheapest seats in the family enclosure to £690 in the Park End. The cheapest non-family stand seat is £600.”
Poor decision
It really is a poor decision from Everton and indeed the other Premier League clubs who have put up their season ticket prices so much for the upcoming campaign.
The fact that some clubs have managed to freeze prices shows that it is in fact possible, but that sadly isn’t the case at Goodison Park.

Everton obviously have their financial issues, which look set to continue in the years to come, but raising money through fans really isn’t the best way to go about fixing their problems.
The fans have been constant despite the continuous struggles for the Merseyside outfit, with this hike in prices a real kick in the teeth just days after their latest scrape with relegation.
The Toffees have ended up narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League for the last two seasons now, with a clearout at boardroom level definitely looking like the solution to the problem, as opposed to directly hitting the pockets of fans.
