Everton slap £55m price tag on Amadou Onana, he ‘absolutely’ wants exit
Amadou Onana “absolutely wants to leave” Everton this summer and is valued at £55million, according to Belgian daily newspaper, Le Soir.
The 21-year-old is believed to have caught the eye of several English clubs and believes he is no longer on the “same wavelength” as the Toffees (Le Soir, 20 June).
With the Merseysiders in need of cash, it’s believed Onana’s situation will spark further interest in the coming weeks and months.

Shock
This news will certainly come as a shock to many.
Onana was intent on staying in January but it appears he’s now had a change of heart.
To be honest, who can actually blame him? He’s a young player with the world at his feet. He’s representing his country regularly and is one of the most impressive youngsters in Europe. He wants to be playing at the highest level possible – and that’s hard to envisage at Goodison Park.

With Farhad Moshiri still messing around at the top of the club, Everton are not an attractive proposition for any player. There’s no footballing structure, the boardroom is now empty and there’s a maverick at the top of the club making the same unprofessional mistakes every single season.
Realistically, until Moshiri departs, there’s little hope of a change of fortune. His unprofessional decision-making is clear all over Goodison Park. The Toffees have even missed their own deadline for a decision to be made about Bill Kenwright’s future.
