Dele Alli sends message as confirmed Everton exit news emerges
Dele Alli has sent Tom Davies a message after the Everton midfielder turned down a contract extension at Goodison Park.
The club confirmed on Thursday 22 June that the 24-year-old would be departing Merseyside after coming through the ranks as a youngster.
Davies posted a message on Instagram and Alli reacted with a sad face and a purple love heart.

Part to play?
Does Alli have a part to play moving forward?
His time at Goodison Park has been a disaster from start to finish and his loan spell with Besiktas was somehow worse.
Now he finds himself back on Merseyside under the stewardship of Sean Dyche. It’s going to go one of two ways. He’s either going to be rejuvenated or completely outcasted once more.
It’s up to the 27-year-old to show some sort of grit and determination to get his career back on track. He’s allowed this to happen. Dyche will give him the motivation, whether he’s up for the challenge remains to be seen.

As for Davies, this is a move that makes sense for everybody involved. The 24-year-old has seen first-team chances hard to come by over the past couple of years and is at an age where he needs to be playing regularly.
A move to another Premier League club cannot be ruled out for the midfielder. His technical ability would certainly be wasted in the Championship if he was to depart.
Nevertheless, he will be given the warmest of welcomes if he ever does return to Everton representing an opposition team.
