Simon Jordan takes dig at Everton fans after Farhad Moshiri and Bill Kenwright news emerges
Simon Jordan believes some of the Everton fans are delusional about what they think about Bill Kenwright and Farhad Moshiri.
This comes after news emerged that Kenwright was set to stay on as Toffees chairman despite the majority of the board members stepping down from their roles.
However, Moshiri has come out with a statement claiming that he needs Kenwright to stay on to help out with the transitional phase.
Jordan said live on talkSPORT [23 June, 10:35 am], “If Bill felt that he wasn’t able to contribute, he would have walked away. Clearly Bill feels it’s something different. I don’t think this will last long. He’s getting old and clearly, who needs this?
“If people think his opinion stops Moshiri from doing anything then I think they are deluded. I don’t think it’s in the best interest of hounding anybody out of the club.”
Wrong
Jordan is absolutely wrong about calling Everton fans delusional as they clearly know what they’ve been through with Kenwright in charge.
He sums up everything that’s wrong with the club and one of the major reasons why the Toffees have not gone in the right direction.
Given their rich history and a new stadium in the pipeline, the club should not be where they are at the moment and should be among the top sides in England.

However, the reality is grim and Kenwright needs to leave along with Moshiri if things are to improve at Goodison Park.
As long as the two are there, there’s very little hope from anyone associated with the club that the Toffees will suddenly turn a new leaf.
Hopefully, this is only a short-term fix and Kenwright is out within a few months once the new board is properly in place.
In other Everton news, a star player is very unhappy at the club and has made it clear that he wants to leave Goodison Park for good this summer.
