Everton transfer news: Battle heats up for Tom Davies after official announcement
Bologna have reportedly joined the race to sign Tom Davies after Everton announced that he will be leaving the club once his contract expires.
The Toffees announced on 22 June that the 24-year-old will not be signing a new contract at Goodison Park and will become a free agent in July.
Since that development, Gazzetta Dello Sport reported [24 June, Page 24] that Bologna are keen on bringing the Englishman to Italy on a free transfer.

Clubs in France have also been linked with a move for the Englishman.
Sign him
Davies is a talented but erratic player and not playing regularly has an impact on his performances on the pitch.
He looks lethargic on occasion and some times feels like he is not enjoying playing a bit-part role.
A move to a side like Bologna could be decent as he’ll get regular game time and can show that he can still be the player man thought he had the potential to be.

He’s put in some solid performances for Everton as well, including an “Excellent” display in the derby against Liverpool in September 2022.
However, fans have not seen more of that and on a regular basis and that’s down to the fact that he’s battled injury issues and has often not been the first choice option.
Hopefully, leaving Goodison Park could be ideal for him to go and rekindle his career and get things back on track.
In other Everton news, a star player is very unhappy at the club and has made it clear that he wants to leave Goodison Park for good this summer.
