Arsenal tell Folarin Balogun to find new club as Everton make contact
Arsenal have told Folarin Balogun’s agents to find him a new club as Everton make contact over a summer transfer, according to 90min.
The 21-year-old is eager to make an impression in Mikel Arteta’s first XI but has yet to commit his future to the North Londoners (90min, 22 June). It’s believed an exit is the most likely scenario at present.
It’s understood that he has no intention of being “farmed” out on loan once more and that he has rejected a new contract.

Everton, along with Crystal Palace, Brentford, Fulham and West Ham have all made contact with the Gunners, who value Balogun at over £30million.
Get it done
This would be a sensational piece of business, but just how realistic it is remains to be seen. For Balogun, the prospect of moving to Merseyside could be an exciting one.
He scored goals in France and could be the main man if he move to Goodison Park. Furthermore, with Everton moving into a brand new stadium next season and looking to push up the Premier League, it could be an attractive project for younger players to come into.

Look at Amadou Onana. He’s still only 21 and has gone on to be one of the best players at Goodison Park during the 2022/23 season.
It would be a similar story for the American if he opted to make the summer switch.
He seems like the type of character you would want in and amongst the squad. He’s desperate to play football, which was indicated by the striker switching nations to represent the USMNT.
There seems to be a lot of Premier League interest. This could be a saga to watch during the summer months.
