Everton want Leeds United ‘prized asset’ Wilfried Gnonto amid expected ‘rival interest’
Everton will anticipate rival interest in Leeds United “prized asset” Wilfried Gnonto in the summer transfer window, according to i news.
The publication noted that the Merseyside outfit are keen on Whites star Gnonto and his teammate Crysencio Summerville.
The Elland Road club are bracing for a major exodus this summer after their relegation from the Premier League, i news added.

“i understands Everton are keen on Leeds United pair Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville, with the Whites braced for an exodus of players following relegation,” according to i news.
“But Gnonto is a prized asset and the club will anticipate rival interest.”

Attacking talents needed
Everton desperately needed attacking talents if they are to have any hope at all of avoiding a third successive Premier League relegation battle.
Manager Sean Dyche prides his clubs on their defensive rigidity, but he would be foolish not to strengthen in the final third this summer amid the club’s current struggles in that area.
Star man Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been injured far too often to enjoy a consistent run of matches in the starting XI, while the futures of Ellis Simms and Neal Maupay are up in the air, with the duo perhaps leaving Goodison Park this summer.
The Toffees could definitely do a lot worse than Gnonto and Summerville, and will land both of their signatures in a perfect world.
There is likely to be interest in the pair from elsewhere, but Everton could have a headstart in any negotiations by offering both players regular minutes on Merseyside next season.
In other Everton news, Chris Sutton has told Toffees boss Dyche to “go and get” one international star this summer.
