Everton: Simon Jordan shares Farhad Moshiri ‘appetite’ verdict amid Bramley-Moore Dock stadium claim
Simon Jordan does not believe that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has the “appetite” to fund the club’s new stadium.
The new Toffees stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is currently under construction, and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
But talkSPORT pundit Jordan has suggested that much-criticised Everton owner Moshiri is not willing to fund the facility.

“I wonder what happened to that investment they were supposed to get,” host Sam Matterface said live on talkSPORT.
Jordan replied: “It was only for the stadium. The investment they were seeking, and Peter Kenyon was running around flapping his gums telling everyone he was going to get involved, while doing a crowd fundraising exercise to put money into Everton as a result of the requirements to fund the stadium.
“Moshiri, I don’t think has the appetite to fund the stadium.”

Messy situation
It really is a messy situation at Everton, with constant updates shared regarding the new stadium, both positive and negative.
Such updates will undoubtedly continue as the construction goes on, only serving as a distraction to Toffees manager Sean Dyche, who will simply want some peace and quiet in order to prepare his squad for the new season.
Everton’s financial struggles have been laid bare for all to see, with the Merseyside club in a worrying position in that regard as the upcoming campaign rapidly approaches.
That will definitely impact Dyche’s ability to bring in new players to the club this summer, which is unfortunate for the boss and indeed the supporters, with fresh talent badly needed if the Toffees are to avoid yet another Premier League relegation battle.
They have been dangerously close to being demoted to the Championship for the past two seasons now, and are in real danger of making that a hat-trick next time out.
In other Everton news, one Manchester United star has sent James Garner a three-word message after the youngster helped fire England Under-21s to European Championship success.
