Everton want to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi, Chelsea want to sell him in next 48 hours
Everton want to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Chelsea want to sell him by the end of the coming weekend according to reports.
Hudson-Odoi spent the 2022/23 season in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen and has now returned to Stamford Bridge to find himself out of the manager’s plans.
And Chelsea want to sort a sale out before Monday according to Evening Standard, opening the door for clubs to make a move including Everton according to 90min.

“In England, Hudson-Odoi is understood to have attracted interest from Everton, Fulham and Nottingham Forest, but the opportunity to move to mainland Europe with clubs from France, Germany and Italy is also on the table,” they wrote (14 July).
Move quickly
This could be a really shrewd bit of business for Everton and something they should be trying to get over the line.
Hudson-Odoi was one of the brightest talents to come out of the Chelsea academy a few years ago but after suffering a serious achilles injury he’s never really got back into his groove.
He struggled in Germany despite playing for one of the better teams in the league, but his style has always seemed more suited to England and he could prove to be a great option on the wing.

He is direct, has great dribbling, an excellent crosser of the ball and a decent finisher too. With Everton open to offers for Demarai Gray this summer, Hudson-Odoi could prove to be a brilliant replacement and for a fraction of the fee.
There is competition and the talk is that Fulham are confident of getting a deal done, but that doesn’t mean Everton shouldn’t try and with Chelsea’s willingness to get a deal done quickly the Toffees should take advantage of that and throw their name into the hat.
In other Everton news, the club have made an enquiry for a Champions League record-breaking defender.
