Brighton have joined Everton in the race to sign Juventus attacker Samuel Iling-Junior this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Italian media outlet claims [31 July] that even Aston Villa and Wolves are keen on signing the 19-year-old.
It’s understood that, much like the Toffees, even Villa are preparing to make a “concrete” bid for the Englishman who’s currently valued at £21.4million.
No chance
Before selling them for a large sum of money in the future, clubs frequently attempt to sign players with high potential at cost-effective values.
Had he been available for 10 or 20 per cent of the price that’s being quoted then it makes a lot of sense for Everton to enter the chase.
There are several teams competing for his services, so if they are serious about signing him, they must act quickly, but the money just seems to be too high.
