Everton transfer news as Tyler Onyango on wishlist of SPFL side Dundee

SPFL side Dundee FC are exploring a move for Everton midfielder Tyler Onyango this summer, according to the Courier.

The British media outlet claimed on its website on Friday (4 August) that The 20-year-old is on their transfer wishlist.

The Englishman spent last season out on loan at Burton Albion as well as Forest Green Rovers.

Decent fit for Dyche?

Onyango has shown glimpses of being a future Everton midfielder from an early age and maybe selling him would be a bad idea.

The Englishman has piqued the interest of scouts and fans alike with his outstanding passing ability and commanding physical presence.

He is a well-rounded midfielder with the ability to contribute both defensively and offensively and that’s something Sean Dyche likes in players.

Tyler’s skill set includes the ability to make accurate passes, win key midfield duels, and occasionally find the back of the net.

It may be a big jump to the senior setup but if money is tight and no midfielders appear to be close to joining the club, it makes sense to give him a chance.

Dundee could do with a player of his calibre and if Everton allow him to leave, it remains to be seen if that’s on loan or a permanent basis.

In exclusive Everton news, the Toffees now have to pay £21.4m to land a Brazilian striker to lead their line for next season.
