Zan-Luk Leban seals Everton exit to join Farsley Celtic
Everton reserves goalkeeper Zan-Luk Leban has secured his Goodison Park exit to join Farsley Celtic on loan for the 2023/24 season.
Via their official website on Friday (4 August), the Toffees confirmed that the 20-year-old, who moved to Merseyside in 2019 from Polish side FCB Escola Varsovia, will join the National League North outfit.
Last season, Leban played for Paul Tait’s under-21s side and made 28 appearances for them.

Good move
Leban successfully stepped up to the under-21s last season, having previously been the keeper for the under-18s.
Now, the next step in his development will be to secure first-team football somewhere and Farsley Celtic will give him that chance.
It was either staying in Merseyside and playing against youngsters or dropping a few divisions to play professional games.

If he does well and emerges as one of the keepers of the season in that league, it won’t be long before a third or fourth tier club gives him a chance.
Everton, too, could look to keep him on as a backup keeper if he continues to improve and three to four years later has a decent amount of senior games under his belt.
Hopefully, this move ends up being a good one for him and he gets the necessary experience to hone his skills and take his game to the next level.
In exclusive Everton news, the Toffees now have to pay £21.4m to land a Brazilian striker to lead their line for next season.
