Everton transfer twist emerges despite bid accepted by PSG for striker Hugo Ekitike
Everton have seen a bid accepted for Hugo Ekitike by PSG but a fresh twist has emerged in the quest to sign the striker, according to Foot 01.
The French media outlet wrote on its website on Thursday (10 August) that while the Ligue 1 champions are pushing him out of the door, he has snubbed the chance to move to Goodison Park.
As things stand, a move to Merseyside is not one the 21-year-old French striker fancies.

Move on
If Ekitike does not want to join Everton, the Toffees should not be wasting their time chasing him and move on to other options.
They seem to have the money to spend big on a forward this summer and there will be options out there willing to move to Goodison Park.
It’s unlikely they register one in time for the Premier League game on Saturday unless Youssef Chermiti is announced in the next few minutes.

Even if that happens, the chances of him playing against Fulham are few as he’s not trained with the Toffees team thus far.
Sean Dyche will probably be counting on Arnaut Danjuma to play there as Alex Iwobi and Dwight McNeil have proven they can do a job out wide.
It’s going to be interesting to see if apart from Chermiti, they do sign another striker this summer.
In exclusive Everton news, the Toffees now have to pay £21.4m to land a Brazilian player ahead of next season.
