Everton star Dele Alli sends message to Harry Kane as forward completes move to Bayern Munich

Everton star Dele Alli has sent a message to Harry Kane after the forward completed his big-money move from Tottenham to Bayern Munich.

The England captain joined the Bundesliga side on Saturday (12 August) for a reported club-record £86.4million fee after penning a four-year deal at the Allianz Arena.

Following his move, Alli posted a message on Instagram to his former Spurs teammate, saying: “One of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to share a pitch with. Thank you for all the guidance and memories you gave me. The Premier League will miss you. All the best for the next chapter brother.”

Won’t be missed at Goodison

It’s clear to see that Alli and Kane are close from the post on Instagram after they spent a number of years playing together at Spurs.

They brought out the best in each other and the Everton midfielder hasn’t really been able to recapture the form he showed in the early stages of his career since he stopped playing with the England captain.

He highlighted in his post that the Premier League will miss Kane and that’s a feeling shared by many after he has scored 213 goals in the competition.

But one place the forward will not be missed, however, is Goodison Park as he has scored 14 goals against the Blues in the Premier League, so there will be a sense of relief that he can no longer add to that total.

As for Alli, he will be looking to quickly get back to full fitness having undergone surgery to prove he is still capable of performing at the top-flight level for the Toffees.

In other Everton news, the club have triggered a clause in one potential signing’s contract.
