Andros Townsend sends three-word message as Everton transfer news emerges
Andros Townsend has wished Demarai Gray luck after his former Everton teammate completed his move to Al-Ettifaq.
Gray’s move was confirmed on deadline day for Saudi Arabian clubs on Thursday [7 September] in a reported £8million deal.
Townsend took to social media to comment on an unveiling photo posted on Gray’s personal Instagram account shortly after signing.

“Good luck bro,” he posted, alongside a flexed bicep emoji.
Sour end
Gray departs Goodison Park under somewhat of a cloud after taking a swipe at manager Sean Dyche last week.
Dyche did not select the Jamaica international in any of his squads this season, but he later put that down to the player not wanting to train.
It is a sour end to the winger’s two-year stay at Goodison Park, during which time he made 75 appearances in all competitions.

Gray showed the odd glimmer of quality, but he was far from a consistent presence out wide and Everton appear to have upgraded in that area.
The hope for the 27-year-old is that he can revive his career elsewhere, although a move to Saudi Arabia is hardly the best place for him to do that.
Who knows, once he has had his big payday, a return to the Premier League may well beckon a year or two down the line, albeit unlikely at any team managed by Dyche.
In other Everton news, the Premier League has drafted new rules as a result of widespread anger caused by the Toffees.
