Sean Dyche sack deadline emerges at Everton amid Farhad Moshiri financial situation

Sean Dyche may find himself in real trouble at Everton if the side are winless until the end of September, according to journalist Paul Brown.

Speaking to Give Me Sport [11 September], he iterated the fact that the financial situation is far from what it should be at Goodison Park.

Farhad Moshiri cannot afford another relegation battle so if they’re still winless after the Luton Town game on 30 September, he may be forced into making a decision.

Brown said, “We all know that Everton’s finances are not in good shape. The owner cannot afford to have them fighting another relegation battle at a time when he’s trying to sell. That would be a disaster for him.

“So I don’t believe that Sean Dyche will survive very long if he keeps losing matches. That being said, I think a lot of people will probably look to the last game Everton play in September at home to Luton.

“I think if Everton hadn’t won a game by then and can’t manage to win that one, then it’s very difficult to see Sean Dyche staying in a job.”

Results business

Dyche wasn’t backed in January and managed to keep the Toffees up and that was a remarkable achievement.

When he took over, few would’ve given him a chance at survival but he defied the odds to keep Everton in the Premier League.

However, this summer, areas that needed addressing have been addressed and big money has been spent on Beto.

The Portuguese was a target in the January transfer window as well and Dyche has finally got his man.

This is a results business and the manager now cannot hide behind the clown not backing him enough.

He’s had a tougher hand at Burnley and managed to take them to Europe so he can certainly do better with this group of players.
