Jim White shares ‘very good intentions’ Farhad Moshiri verdict amid Everton takeover news
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri had “good intentions” when he took over the club, according to talkSPORT host Jim White.
The verdict comes amid the news that US private investment firm 777 Partners has agreed to acquire Moshiri’s full stake in the club.
As per the official Everton website (15 September), Moshiri’s stake accounts for a total of 94.1% of the club’s shares.

“It’s fair to say that Farhad Moshiri began his era in control of the club with very good intentions,” White said live on talkSPORT.
“I must say at this point, I was one of the few to get to know Moshiri pretty well, and he was indeed so attached to the football club, he loved Everton as a club.
“He had a massive affection for the club, but it just didn’t work out for whatever reason, in spite of the millions and millions he put in. And now he goes.”

End of an era
However Everton fans look at it, it really is the end of an era for the club as they say farewell to Moshiri. It seems that the majority of supporters will be delighted with the news, with many believing that they can now push on and reach their full potential.
Things can only get better when the Toffees move into their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, but that remains some time away.
For now, manager Sean Dyche perhaps won’t be a massive fan of these off-field distractions, an issue that has constantly hampered the boss ever since he took over in the dugout.
All he will want to do is work with his squad and get them into the best shape possible to take on the next few months, which may just make or break their season.
After a difficult start, things won’t get any easier for the Toffees, with their next match coming against Arsenal on Sunday (17 September).
In other Everton news, a BBC journalist has mooted a rejuvenated career for one Toffees loanee after his “no-brainer” Goodison Park exit.
