Alex Iwobi sends Abdoulaye Doucoure one-word message after Everton win v Brentford
Former Everton star Alex Iwobi has sent Abdoulaye Doucoure a one-word message on social media after the 3-1 win against Brentford on Saturday 23 September.
Taking to Instagram, the now-Fulham player joined a swathe of Everton stars in congratulating the Man of the Match performance from the 30-year-old.
Iwobi made the £22million move to the London club on deadline day but took the time to send his well-wishes to his former teammate.

Iwobi said: “Doucs.”
Love still there
The likes of Dwight McNeil, Arnaut Danjuma and Youssef Chermiti all gave Doucoure a virtual pat on the back for his influential performance at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday (23 September).
His sixth-minute goal gave the Toffees a well-deserved early lead but was cancelled out by Mathias Jensen’s effort later in the first half. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Tarkowski netted to bring the three points back to Goodison Park in the Toffees’ first win of the season.

Meanwhile, Iwobi made just his second appearance for the Cottagers in a dull 0-0 display at Selhurst Park after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained late last month.
While Everton fans were sad to see the influential Nigerian international depart for a Premier League rival, the significant cash boost from his sale was needed amid the Toffees’ financial woes.
No love seems to be lost between Iwobi and his former Merseyside mates. The winger is seemingly watching his former side from afar and will likely be cheering them on in all their fixtures – except against Fulham, no doubt.
