Confirmed: Seamus Coleman, Andre Gomes and Dele Alli ruled out Everton v Bournemouth
Everton will be without Seamus Coleman, Dele Alli and Andre Gomes for their Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Toffees boss Sean Dyche was speaking in his pre-match press conference (5 October) and confirmed that the trio are all still a way away from featuring as they recover from different issues.
Vitalii Mykolenko has recovered from the knock that saw him as a doubt for the clash with Luton, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still fit and expected to start the game once again after three goals in three appearances since his return to the team.
“Seamus [Coleman] is making progress, Andre [Gomes] is touch and go,” he said. “Dele is a bit longer term.”
Must win
Everton have had a ridiculous few weeks on the pitch after unexpected wins against both Brentford and Aston Villa on the road, before defeat in a game that many people had them down as favourites for against Luton.
But with the international break upon us after this weekend clash at home to Bournemouth, a win is as important as ever for the club and Sean Dyche.

There are big issues defensively with the team having the worst defensive record from clean sheets and poor results, and on the pitch we’re still struggling to score goals as often as is needed at the top level.
Dyche knows this though and will be looking to find the right solution before he loses a chunk of players in the squad to international duty and can’t work with them for the best part of two weeks.
This is the biggest game of the season so far and with the Goodison Park crowd knowing that, he will be calling on an electric atmosphere to help the team get over the line against a relegation rival no doubt.
