Everton might be forced to make Sean Dyche sack decision, big change needed v Bournemouth
Everton are at risk of losing the game against Bournemouth at Goodison Park as long as Ashley Young is on the pitch for them.
Despite Nathan Patterson being available, Sean Dyche opted to go for Young and it’s not a decision that’s paid off so far.
Not only did he pick up an early yellow card, he’s been targeted by the Cherries as the weak link in the Toffees side and has been awful for the Toffees.
He also made numerous mistakes and was wayward with his passing as well [Whoscored] so he desperately needs to be taken off at the break.
Dyche will be aware that another home defeat against a relegation candidate could be the writing on the wall for his stint at Goodison Park.
He had plenty of excuses after not being backed in January but he can’t say the same thing after an impressive summer outlay.
James Garner’s goal gave the Toffees a very good start and the fans were extremely loud since the ball went into the back of the net.
That’s precisely what the club needed to get going in order to secure the three points.
While Everton go into the break with a 2-0 lead, Dyche cannot afford to have his worst player on the pitch who’s already on a yellow card.
Patterson will even offer more on the counter attack and that change needs to be made sooner rather than later.
