Everton transfer news as Liverpool and Brentford in hunt for Maximilian Beier

Everton, Liverpool and Brentford are keen on securing the services of TSG Hoffenheim attacker Maximilian Beier, according to Fussball Transfers.

The German media outlet reported on Monday (9 October) that he’s got a release clause of £17million at the Bundesliga outfit.

The 20-year-old German already has six goal involvements in seven games this season and head coach Julian Nagelsmann is also keeping tabs on him.

Not needed?

Beier has been labelled as “Lightning-fast” in the report above and he certainly seems to be like the next big thing in Germany.

He’s not just got raw pace but also thrives in one-on-one situations where he uses his close ball control and quick, nimble footwork to navigate through tight spaces and take on defenders effectively.

He is adaptable and can operate in various attacking positions, offering flexibility to his team’s tactics.

Had Sean Dyche been looking for him in the summer, it would’ve made sense as there were a number of attackers that were signed.

However, they’re now pretty well-stacked in that area and perhaps need recruitment in midfield and in defence.

Also, if Liverpool are in the race, they can afford him higher wages and lure him away from the clutches of the Toffees so this one seems unlikely, as things stand.

In other Everton news, a condition has now emerged on Sean Dyche being sacked amid trouble behind the scenes at Goodison Park.
