Sean Dyche influence sees Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite worth over £30million

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has been among the best centre-backs in the Premier League this season and statistics certainly back that up.

The Englishman has won 80 per cent of his overall duels this term, making him one of the top five in the top flight.

As can be seen in the data revealed below, he appears to be in the same bracket as Manchester City’s Ruben Dias and Arsenal defender William Saliba.

He’s also boasted a passing accuracy of close to 85 per cent and he’s gone from a player being sent out on loan, to being among the first names on the team sheet.

Sean Dyche’s influence on him cannot be understated as he’s axed Michael Keane for him and entrusted the 21-year-old to be James Tarkowski’s partner.

He was linked with the exit door over the summer and it’s fair to say that his market value will only skyrocket after his performances this season.

He was already in demand after a loan spell at PSV Eindhoven, but performing in the Premier League for a side that’s in a relegation battle suggests that he’s a cut above the rest.

The Athletic valued the English defender around the £20million mark a few months ago, before the season even began.

It’s fair to say, that if he is to be sold in January or the summer, he’ll legitimately cost at least 50 per cent more and the Toffees may even demand over £30million for his services.
