Doctor issues injury news on Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead of Everton v Newcastle United
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...
Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin may still be ruled out of the upcoming game against Newcastle, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has issued his reaction to the news that the England international has been training indoors this week.
It could be that he’s suffered a setback to his calf which kept him out of the game against Nottingham Forest too.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“My guess would be he suffered some overload in the calf during training and the club is being careful with him considering his recent injury history.
“The calf is a sensitive area as well so makes sense to be methodical.
“He may miss the next game until he’s fit again.”

In the game against Forest, summer signing Beto started in stead of Calvert-Lewin in attack.
He had a glorious chance to find the back of the net, but fluffed his lines – something which would not have impressed Sean Dyche
Dyche will be hoping to call upon the services of the England international for the game in mid week.
In other Everton news, Peter Reid has issued a £1billion ‘Crime’ admission as he fumes over a recent Toffees development.
