Doctor issues Beto injury news ahead of Everton v Chelsea Premier League clash
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...
Everton striker Beto is not at risk of missing the game against Chelsea on Sunday, 10 December, despite his recent injury, according to Rajpal Brar.
The Toffees attacker was left out of the squad for the 3-0 loss against Manchester United due to a flare up in his knee.
However, he was back in action shortly after and even scored his first Premier League goal against Newcastle on Thursday, 7 December.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“A player fell on his knee during training but sounds like it was a mild and minor issue with the knee flaring up which typically means some inflammation.
“Considering it happened the day before a match, made sense to not play him.
“However, he’s since recovered and should be good to play in the upcoming games.“

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury has seen the Portuguese being given a start by Sean Dyche and he’ll be delighted to score his first league goal.
He scored in his first Toffees goal in the cup but it’s always a special achievement to find the back of the net in the Premier League.
With the England international now back to full fitness, Beto’s once again expected to be on the bench for the Toffees.
In other Everton news, Peter Reid has issued a £1billion ‘Crime’ admission as he fumes over a recent Toffees development.
