Robbie Savage shares Sean Dyche prediction at Everton after ‘massive’ development
Robbie Savage predicts Everton to keep moving away from the Premier League’s relegation zone after moving out of the bottom three this week.
Sean Dyche’s men won 3-0 against Newcastle on Thursday night to move above Luton into 17th position.
Savage had backed the Blues to finish in the top half of the Premier League this term and while that might not be possible due to the 10-point deduction, he still believes Dyche to continue winning up vital points at Goodison Park to move away from the danger zone.

“Before their 10-point deduction, I said Sean Dyche would lead Everton to a top-half finish this season,” said Savage in the Mirror on Saturday (page 63, 9 December).
“After back-to-back wins against Forest and Newcastle, they are out of the bottom three despite their massive handicap.
“And I expect Dyche to keep them climbing away from danger.”

Moving on up
Everton’s form is incredible with a big part of their 10-point deduction already cancelled out.
Sure, it’s going to cause us to drop down and finish in a lower league position than we deserve but the fact we’re out of the relegation zone now means the worst effect of a deduction is now unlikely to happen.
We really don’t expect the Toffees to go into the bottom three again this season.
Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton have been woeful this season. They’re nowhere near the standard required to stay in the Premier League and we fully expect them to go back down now.
If Everton finish 17th with a 10-point deduction, we’ll unfortunately just have to accept it.
However, the form we’re in right now suggests we can get a lot higher up in the table. We just hope we don’t do so well that we end up being nine points off a European spot or something.
But that’s getting ahead of ourselves.
Dyche is doing what he was brought in to do and if he can make one or two good signings in January, there’s no reason why he can’t have us well set-up for next season.
In other Everton news, the club’s takeover by 777 Partners is now considered “unlikely” to success according to sources close to the process.
