Ian Wright continues Everton love in as he names one thing that has blown him away
Ian Wright has continued to heap praise on Everton as they have navigated themselves out of a tricky situation over the last few weeks.
The Toffees were hit with a points deduction and viewed by many as destined for relegation, but they’ve already got out of the drop zone.
On this run, they’ve registered wins over Newcastle and Chelsea – showing that they’re a force to be reckoned with this season.

Speaking on Wrighty’s House, Wright said, “Can I just say as well, Everton… Everton, it’s a beautiful thing to see, it’s a beautiful thing to see because they’ve taken it all on board
“And let’s face it, if they didn’t get the 10 points, they were playing a kind of football where they would’ve been okay anyway, they dropped in [to the relegation zone] so you just keep playing the football you were playing, it’s no different, you just keep playing it.
“I am just pleased that they didn’t get bogged down with the ‘ahh the 10 points, oh it’s not fair’, they used it.”
“I am really pleased for Everton because you do feel that something along the line doesn’t feel fair about what’s happened to them so I’m quite pleased that they’ve found the energy and the gusto and goodwill to just get on with it.”
Wright is absolutely spot on in his assessment of the club as they’ve shown remarkable grit and determination through adversity.
Even after the Manchester United game, despite the Toffees losing 3-0, Wright was full of praise for the spirit shown by the side.
He waxed lyrical over the fans, players and most importantly, Sean Dyche, for navigating this club through rocky roads.
Despite the adversity of a 10-point deduction that initially pushed them into the relegation zone, the Toffees have showcased resilience and determination on the pitch.

Wins against Newcastle and Chelsea signify a commendable turnaround, demonstrating the players’ commitment and adaptability under Dyche’s leadership.
The positive response to challenges, as highlighted by Wright, reflects a team that has not succumbed to setbacks but instead used them as motivation.
The fans can take pride in the team’s ability to maintain their ability to pick up points amid external challenges, creating a sense of unity and resilience that bodes well for Everton’s future.
