Spotted: Sky Sports journalist shares what Sean Dyche did at full-time whistle in Everton win v Burnley
Everton manager Sean Dyche “strode onto the pitch” and applauded his supporters after the victory against Burnley.
That is according to Sky Sports journalist Ben Grounds, who noticed the actions of the boss after the 2-0 win at his former club.
The Toffees secured all three points in the Premier League encounter at Turf Moor on Saturday (16 December), with Amadou Onana and Michael Keane scoring.

“For Sean Dyche, on his return to a club where he enjoyed so much relative success, this was just business as usual,” Grounds wrote for Sky Sports.
“He strode onto the pitch at the final whistle and applauded those who now laud his ability to get the most out of a depleted squad.
“Here, despite missing three first-choice defenders, there was evidence of the team spirit and togetherness he is fostering in his first full season.”

Strong run
The Toffees could have been forgiven for sitting back and feeling sorry for themselves after being handed a 10-point deduction by the Premier League.
But that certainly hasn’t been the case, with the immediate 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United perhaps coming too soon for Dyche to have been able to energise his players.
Since then, however, the Goodison Park outfit have defeated Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Chelsea and now Burnley. More impressively, they scored eight times in those four matches, and didn’t concede a single goal.
It really is an outstanding run, with Dyche desperate to keep that momentum in the weeks to come, with a League Cup clash against Fulham now splitting up the busy league schedule.
Following that meeting at Goodison Park on Tuesday (19 December), Everton have very tricky back-to-back Premier League matches against Tottenham and Manchester City, with a trip to Wolves also on the cards before the end of the year.
