Injury Expert shares early Fulham team news for EFL Cup clash v Everton

Fulham could be without four first-team players for their EFL Cup clash against Everton, according to Ben Dinnery.

The injury expert shared the data on his website and has listed the players who will not be available and are “ruled out”, for Tuesday’s clash (19 December) at Goodison Park.

Adama Traore (thigh) and Raul Jimenez (suspension) are both ruled out of Tuesday’s EFL Cup encounter while first-team ever-present defenders Tim Ream (calf) and Calvin Bassey (illness) are unlikely to feature with their status’ at 25 per cent, according to Dinnery.

Confidence

Given the form Everton are in right now, Fulham will be heading to Merseyside on Tuesday with plenty to fear in what will be an all-or-nothing tie at Goodison Park.

The Cottagers, after two 5-0 drubbings over Nottingham Forest and West Ham United suffered a demoralising 3-0 defeat to Newcastle at the weekend after seeing star striker Raul Jimenez sent off for a silly incident which certainly hands Everton all the impetus.

Everton

Everton are on a superb run of four consecutive wins in the Premier League since their unfortunate points deduction but are certainly playing like a side riding high in the table and if not for their points deduction, would find themselves a couple points off the European spots in the table.

Recent form certainly suggests Everton are favourites but it’s important to note Fulham registered a win at Goodison earlier in the first game of the season so revenge will be on the cards.

The Toffees supporters will be keen for Silva to have a torrid return to Merseyside in their meeting under the lights and Dyche has a great chance of taking his rejuvenated team into the semi-finals. What an achievement that would be.

Tremendous incentive,
