Agent confirms Arnaut Danjuma in talks over Everton exit live on talkSPORT
Michael-Moses Jarman, the agent of Everton loanee Arnaut Danjuma, has revealed that talks are ongoing with Ligue 1 club Lyon for a possible move away from Goodison Park in January.
Jarman shared that, due to his lack of game time under Sean Dyche, there have been conversations about an exit, insisting it will be an interesting three weeks in the transfer window.
For Danjuma to move to Lyon, his parent club Villarreal would need to recall him from his loan at Everton and agree to another with the French outfit, with those conversations continuing.

Jarman was speaking live on talkSPORT [9 January, 12:51] as he revealed: “There are conversations ongoing. He’s happy, he’s settled at Everton, we’ve got a contract with Everton, so it’s only respectful that that’s where the conversation stands.
“But he’s not getting his minutes at the moment under Mr Dyche, and what’s best for his career is to play football.
“There has been interest and conversations are ongoing with Olympique Lyonnais, it’s been reported in the media so I’ll confirm it. It’ll be an interesting three weeks.”
An exit is edging closer
Amid plenty of speculation over his future at Goodison Park, it now looks almost inevitable that Danjuma will depart in January having failed to live up to the expectation around his eagerly anticipated spell under Dyche.
When he arrived in the summer, having previously turned down a move to Everton in favour of a short-term loan with Tottenham, there were high hopes for what he could do, but just three Premier League starts later he is looking to quit already.
The fact his agent spoke so openly about it on talkSPORT suggests the deal is further along the line than some may think, and an exit for Danjuma now appears set to come within the following weeks.

Whether this means Everton will be pushed to enter the transfer market in pursuit of a new player, with their depth already lacking particularly in the wide areas and likely to become even shorter, is unknown but their hand may be forced.
