Hannibal Mejbri and Everton transfer update emerges on Sky Sports
Dharmesh Sheth has shared that Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri is more likely to join Sevilla than Everton as things stand in the January window.
The Sky Sports journalist reported that the Red Devils youngster is one of several players that the Toffees are currently looking at as they look to strengthen in midfield.
All parties are said to agree that another loan move would be beneficial for Mejbri after a one-year contract extension was triggered at Old Trafford.

Sheth said, as shared on the Sky Sports live blog [10 January, 15:41]: “He’s one of a number of players Everton are looking at as they look to recruit a midfielder in this area, but – as it stands – Sevilla looks a more likely destination.
“Hannibal has started four games in all competitions this season and is likely to find minutes even more limited as Casemiro and Mason Mount are close to returns.”

Fallen behind.
It looks as though Everton are on the way to losing this battle, their first of the January transfer window.
Mejbri is a combative midfielder who is not afraid to get stuck in, and with that type of player wanted at Goodison Park, Sean Dyche will be pushing for movement.
It is no surprise that is the case either with Idrissa Gana Gueye away with Senegal at the African Cup of Nations this month, with a loan move likely all that is expected.
As well publicised, Everton aren’t exactly blessed with financial wriggle room at this moment in time, and with the Premier League sniffing around, a big-money signing isn’t exactly smart.
If Mejbri does move to Spain, it will take away the perfect chance for him to earn consistent Premier League chances as he looks to succeed in Manchester.
Kevin Thelwell will no doubt have other targets in mind if needed though, and we may well get to know who they are very soon if this move continues at this rate.
In other Everton news, an injury update has emerged that could be just like a new signing for the Toffees
