Doctor issues Dele Alli injury news ahead of Everton games v Luton Town, Fulham and Tottenham

We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...

Everton attacker Dele Alli appears to be a few more weeks away from making his first-team return, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that his setback has pushed his timeline further down the road and a return before February is not on the cards.

The Luton Town, Fulham and Tottenham games are on the 27th, 30th and 3rd and the England international will not be available for any of them.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli:

It sounded like he was in his final stages but the club was being conservative based on the injury itself and the extended time out.

The right way to get him back to full fitness is a methodical plan and that looks to be exactly what the club are doing.

His recent setback clearly has not helped and he still seems some weeks away from being in contention to return.

Alli has yet to make a single appearance for Everton under the stewardship of Sean Dyche.

When Dyche took over, the 27-year-old was on loan at Besiktas where he failed to create an impression.

The former Tottenham player confirmed that he’ll be out for a while after admitting on 1 January that he had suffered yet another setback.
