Everton ‘huge fans’ of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as Leicester transfer news emerges late in January transfer window

Everton are “huge fans” of Leicester City ace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, but are not ready or willing to bid for the player this month.

That is according to HITC, with the publication reporting on Friday (26 January) that Arsenal and Newcastle United are in a similar position.

HITC added that fellow Premier League club Brighton have opened talks with the Foxes over a move for the midfielder.

Top talent

Dewsbury-Hall has been one of the standout performers at Leicester for quite some time now, with a potential move back to the Premier League not surprising at all.

The midfielder already boasts plenty of top flight experience thanks to his time in the division with the Foxes before they were relegated to the Championship.

The 25-year-old boasts over 50 Premier League appearances, while this season he has featured 31 times in the second division.

And his displays have now seemingly caught the eye of several top English clubs, who may just find themselves in a fierce battle for his signature before deadline day.

But given the rapidly approaching deadline and indeed Everton’s financial issues, the Goodison Park club may find themselves well behind their Premier League rivals in this expected transfer battle.

Toffees fans would undoubtedly welcome a player as talented as Dewsbury-Hall, but a deal for the player does remain unlikely at this stage.

In other Everton news, Kaveh Solhekol has name-dropped the Toffees in a “very careful” January transfer window verdict.
