Everton takeover news: Alan Myers issues £160m 777 Partners update as information submitted to Premier League
Everton have been handed another loan by potential new owners 777 Partners to the tune of £13million, according to Alan Myers.
The Sky Sports journalist claims that it will take their total commitment to the club to over £160million.
It’s understood that they have submitted the required information in full to the Premier League and are waiting to hear back from the Premier League.
Via Twitter, Myers wrote: “Proposed new Everton owners ‘777 Partners’ has increased its support to the club with another £13M loan, taking its commitment to over £160M as they await approval from the Premier League to complete a takeover.
“The Miami based group were expected to hear a decision before Christmas and are understood to have submitted the required information in full to the Premier League.”
Annoying
The delays in the proposed Everton takeover by 777 Partners have become increasingly frustrating for the club and the fans.
With over a month passed since the expected decision before Christmas, the extended timeline raises concerns and uncertainties about the deal’s completion.
The additional £13million loan, bringing the total commitment to over 160 million, underscores the potential positive impact of the new ownership on Everton’s financial stability.
The frustration is amplified by the Premier League’s deduction of 10 points and the imposition of fresh allegations, creating a sense of adversity for the club.
The timing of these setbacks, amidst the takeover uncertainty, might fuel speculation about an agenda against the Toffees, further aggravating the frustration among fans.
The lack of clarity and the ongoing regulatory hurdles contribute to a tense atmosphere, with supporters eagerly awaiting resolution and a return to normalcy for their club.
The prolonged wait, coupled with off-field challenges, intensifies the need for a swift resolution to provide the Toffees with stability and the new owners are having minimal impact in the transfer window.
