Amadou Onana nowhere to be seen in four changes, Arnaut Danjuma decision made – Everton confirmed XI v Fulham
Everton have confirmed their starting XI for their Premier League clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Tuesday (30 January).
The Toffees will be looking to secure their first Premier League win since mid-December when they take on Fulham and Sean Dyche has made four changes from the side knocked out by Luton Town in the FA Cup fourth-round (27 January).
Amadou Onana, who’s been linked with a move away from Goodison Park (TEAMtalk, 25 January) is nowhere to be seen in the first-team squad while Seamus Coleman remains absent with an injury.
Beto, Nathan Patterson, and Joao Virginia all drop to the bench for the Toffees with Ben Godfrey who’s also been linked with an exit takes his place in defence while Pickford is recalled and Ashley Young makes his return to the team.
Arnaut Danjuma who has also been linked with a move away also comes into the side as he makes up a brave attacking line-up put out by Dyche, with James Garner the only fit central midfielder.
Must win
Everton have won just one of their last eight matches – a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace in their FA Cup third-round replay two weeks ago.
Exiting that competition to Luton at the weekend was a big disappointment with fans anticipating an exciting cup run given the difficulties faced in recent months, now the focus is solely on avoiding Premier League relegation.
The Toffees did incredibly well to climb clear of the relegation zone not so long ago, but they have taken just one point from the past 12 on offer.
That leaves Dyche’s side 17th and now just one point above Luton Town in the final relegation spot, with the Hatters having a game in hand.
The game at Craven Cottage against Marco Silva’s resurgent side is absolutely a must-win game for Everton who are in real trouble after some bad form recently.

It seems that excitement from that purple patch of form late last year is well in the rear-view mirror but whether the Blues can record that form again between now and May is very difficult.
Something must be picked up in West London or Everton are in serious trouble.
