Everton 777 Partners takeover could be confirmed in February – Alan Myers
Everton could find out if the Premier League will allow 777 Partners to complete their takeover of the club this month, according to Alan Myers.
Writing on the Sky Sports website (8 February), the journalist reports that February could be a “pivotal” month for the club with the appeal hearing for their first FFP charges expected to deliver an answer before the end of the month also.
And with 777 Partners already injecting £160m into the club to help with the monthly running costs both they and the club are hopeful of getting an answer from the Premier League about the takeover being approved.
Everton 777 takeover needs to move on one way or another
Farhad Moshiri has gone AWOL and nobody knows what the future of this football club actually entails right now.
Financial problems are a huge issue and while 777 Partners are hardly ideal partners considering all the things that have come out about them in recent months.
But with the Premier League still allowing them to loan money to Everton without approving the takeover it could simply be creating a bigger hole for the club to climb out of.

The decision was initially expected before the new year and at this stage things just need to be moved on one way or another. Either they’re allowed in or they’re not, but the Toffees need to be allowed to start planning for the future.
Until they make a decision that isn’t possible though, so the quicker this happens the better. Figners crossed we’ll have good news by the end of the month.
In other Everton news, Toffees must sell this senior ace in the summer as he’s not good enough anymore.
