Everton takeover: 777 Partners deal approved by FA as Goodison insiders speak out
Everton and 777 Partners are expecting to hear from the Premier League about the state of the takeover by the end of the month, according to The Telegraph.
Writing on their website (15 February), the news outlet report that all outstanding questions have already been answered by the Miami-based investment group.
And now insiders are claiming that the FA have already approved the deal for the takeover to be completed, although that has not been confirmed yet.
“Everton and 777 Partners are expecting contact from the Premier League this week as the top tier’s directors and owners’ test finally reaches conclusion,” they wrote.
“All outstanding questions have been answered by the Miami-based consortium, with the club still confident it will learn its fate within the fortnight.
“Insiders with understanding of the process say the Football Association has already approved the deal, although the governing body has yet to comment.”
Everton finally get takeover clarity
It has been a long time coming, but it now seems like Everton have finally got some clarity on the future of the club and 777 Partners will be coming in.
There have been major question marks about whether they are the right people to come into the club and take over considering the status of the other clubs they own plus some financial issues that they have had outside of football.
But the Premier League cannot be accused of not doing their due diligence on this case and you would assume that means Everton are in good hands now.

Importantly it means that Farhad Moshiri will be officially gone from the club and the Toffees can now start planning for the new season in advance rather than wondering what will be happening.
Hopefully there will be a budget in place to strengthen the squad and it will improve the chances of keeping key players in the side too. Hopefully this is the light at the end of the tunnel that Everton fans have been dreaming of.
